The Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 1 ships with Windows 11 Pro, a quad-core Intel Core i5-10310U reaching 4.40 GHz and 40 GB of DDR4-2666 memory. It targets professionals who need a lightweight 14.0" IPS non-touch display at 1920 x 1080 for office applications, video calls and multi-monitor setups. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics uses shared system memory for everyday visual tasks.

Simple memory layout with no free slots

The 40 GB configuration consists of 8 GB soldered onboard plus a single 32 GB DDR4 module occupying the only SO-DIMM slot, leaving zero slots for further upgrades. Installing additional memory is therefore impossible without removing the existing module, and the chassis uses standard ThinkPad screws that require only a small Phillips driver for bottom-cover access. SSD expansion is limited to one M.2 2242 drive bay.
