The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 Aura Edition is a 14.0-inch business laptop with a WUXGA IPS touchscreen, Intel Core Ultra 7 255U processor, 32GB LPDDR5x memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and includes a fingerprint reader, IR webcam and backlit keyboard. The 500-nit anti-glare panel covers 100% sRGB for colour-critical work.

Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity limits

Two Thunderbolt 4 ports provide up to 40 Gb/s data, DisplayPort video and power delivery, while HDMI 2.1 supports external 4K displays. Wi-Fi 6E AX211 and Bluetooth5.3 handle wireless networking, but the laptop has no wired Ethernet port and no full-size USB-A connectors beyond the two USB 3.2 Gen 1 sockets. Integrated Intel Graphics share system memory and are not suited for heavy 3D rendering or gaming workloads.

Check memory, storage

Memory is soldered LPDDR5x-8400 and cannot be upgraded after purchase, so confirm 32GB is sufficient for your workflow. The single M.2 slot holds the 2TB NVMe drive; adding a second internal drive is not possible. The 57Wh battery charges via Thunderbolt 4 or the included adapter; verify your dock or monitor can supply enough power if you plan to run the laptop through a single cable.
