Industrial USB multi-bus converter
The LORDWORLD development board converts between USB, RS232, RS485 and TTL interfaces in both directions. It is built for engineers and integrators who need reliable serial links in industrial or automation environments.
Isolation and protection features
Onboard unibody power-supply and digital isolation remove the need for an external isolated supply while keeping signals jamproof. TVS diodes, a resettable fuse and protection diodes suppress surges and transient spikes, and a 3.3V or 5V switch sets the TTL level for the Group B terminal.
Interface practical limits
The aluminium enclosure houses all protection circuits, but the supplier notes there is no protection between the two power supplies of the host terminal. Users must plan their wiring accordingly when connecting equipment across the isolation barrier.
