The LRDIMM buffer reduces electrical load on the memory controller, which can lower system power draw compared to standard registered DIMMs at this density. Passive cooling relies on chassis airflow; no active cooling or fan headers are included. Acoustic impact is determined entirely by the server platform fans.

Modules use major OEM chips from Samsung, Micron or Hynix and are stress-tested under load before shipping.
