TerraMaster NAS memory upgrade

This OWC module adds 16GB of DDR4 3200 memory to compatible TerraMaster NAS units including the F2-223, F2-423, F4-223, F4-423 and T12-423. It uses the standard 260-pin SODIMM form factor and runs at 1.2V without ECC or buffering. The single-rank 2Rx8 design fits the memory slots in these specific models.

Sustained workload behaviour

The CL22 latency and 3200 MT/s data rate provide consistent throughput for file serving, virtualization and multi-user access over long periods. JEDEC-standard timings ensure the module maintains its rated speed without throttling during continuous read and write cycles. Unbuffered operation keeps latency predictable for the NAS operating system.

Thermals noise and power

Operating at 1.2V keeps power draw low inside the compact NAS chassis. The module has no heat spreader, relying on the system's internal airflow for cooling during normal operation. Silent solid-state construction adds no acoustic noise to the appliance. RoHS compliance confirms the absence of restricted hazardous substances.
