FARA 511Z ATX chassis

The Silverstone FARA 511Z is a mid-tower case built for ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards. Its mesh front panel and three pre-installed 120 mm ARGB fans target builders who want strong airflow and visible lighting without extra purchases. Seven expansion slots give room for full-length graphics cards and additional add-in cards. The tempered glass side panel shows the interior while the steel and plastic structure keeps weight at 6.93 kg.

Storage capacity and cooling headroom

One combined 3.5" or 2.5" bay plus two dedicated 2.5" bays cover a boot drive and a couple of SSDs; builders with larger mechanical arrays will need a different chassis. The front accepts radiators up to 360 mm, the top up to 280 mm and the rear a 120 mm unit, so custom loops and large AIOs fit comfortably. A 162 mm CPU cooler limit handles most tower coolers, while the 360 mm GPU length and 169 mm width clearance accommodate current flagship graphics cards.

Build quality and daily connectivity

Steel, plastic and tempered glass construction feels solid for the 42.85 litre volume. The front I/O provides two USB 3.0 ports and separate audio and microphone jacks for headsets. The drive cage can be moved forward or backward, shifting maximum power supply length between 190 mm and 160 mm to suit cable routing preferences. Vertical GPU mounting is supported for showcase builds, though the required riser cable is not included.
