This vertical 3.5 mm mono headphone jack plugs directly into a solderless breadboard or perf-board on .1 inch pin spacing. It provides a ground sleeve pin, a left tip pin and a disconnect pin that opens when a cable is inserted. Any standard 3.5 mm audio cable can be used with the connector. The jack is supplied new and works best when soldered into a perf-board for a permanent connection.
