The platform supports a second processor for up to 24 total cores and 3TB of memory across 24 DIMM slots.

B140i software RAID constraint

The installed B140i controller provides RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 for SATA drives only. It does not support SAS or NVME devices, so any storage expansion must use SATA media. Eight 2.5-inch SFF bays are populated with the two included drives, leaving six bays free for additional SATA disks within the same controller domain.

Dual 500W redundant power

Two hot-swap 500W power supplies deliver N+1 redundancy without occupying extra rack units. The Matrox G200eH2 graphics chip handles basic console output, freeing PCIe slots for workload accelerators or additional network adapters.
