The HyperX Alloy Origins 60 is a 60% mechanical gaming keyboard that removes the number pad and navigation cluster to free desk area for broad mouse sweeps. Its full aluminium frame keeps the unit rigid during transport and LAN events. HyperX Red linear switches provide a smooth keystroke without a tactile bump. The US layout uses double-shot PBT keycaps with secondary legends printed on the front face.

Aluminium chassis and exposed LED lighting

The metal body acts as a heat spreader for the PCB, so the keyboard stays cool to the touch during long sessions. HyperX Red switches are rated for 80 million keypresses, indicating consistent actuation force over time. Because the switches use an exposed LED design, per-key RGB illumination shines directly through the keycaps without a diffuser layer. The wired USB connection draws power from the host and adds no battery maintenance.

NGENUITY software unlocks macros and lighting

HyperX NGENUITY software lets you record macros, remap keys and create custom lighting profiles that are stored on the keyboard. The printed secondary functions on the PBT keycaps make layer shortcuts visible without memorisation. No mouse is bundled, so pointer control must be supplied separately.
