PoE splitter for micro-USB devices
This IEEE 802.3af compliant splitter delivers 5 V at up to 2.4 A over a single Ethernet cable while passing gigabit data. It targets Raspberry Pi 3B+ and earlier boards plus other micro-USB gear such as security cameras or tablets where a nearby AC outlet is unavailable. The pack contains two units for multi-device deployments.
Thermals noise and power draw
Isolation rated at 2.5 kV protects the downstream device from voltage spikes on the line. The splitter draws up to 300 mA from a 44–56 V PoE source and converts it to a regulated 5 V output without active cooling, so it runs silently in embedded projects. No fan or heatsink is required for normal operation.
Replaces separate power adapters
It removes the need for an individual wall wart when an 802.3af injector or switch is already present. The jump is worth it for builders who want to power devices up to 400 feet from the source without running extra mains wiring. Buyers who lack a compliant PoE switch or injector cannot use this product.

أسئلة حول هذا المنتج
How do I install the splitter and what step is often missed?
Connect the Ethernet cable from an IEEE 802.3af compliant switch or injector to the input port, then plug the micro USB output into the device; the step often missed is confirming the switch provides standard 802.3af PoE, not passive PoE, which can overvolt and damage the splitter.
What maintenance or replacement will the splitter need later?
The splitter itself has no moving parts or user-serviceable components; if the connected micro USB device later draws more than 5 V / 2.4 A or the PoE source drifts outside 44–56 V, the unit may need replacement.
What limit appears first during sustained use?
The 10 W output ceiling is the first limit; continuous loads above 5 V / 2 A will trigger protection or cause voltage drop, and the 1000 Mbps data path will not be the bottleneck.
