2-Channel RS485 and 1-Channel CAN HAT
The LORDWORLD expansion board adds one CAN channel and two RS485 channels to any Raspberry Pi with a 40-pin GPIO header. It targets makers and engineers building industrial or automotive communication links on a single-board computer.
Isolated power and signal paths
Onboard unibody power-supply isolation and digital isolation deliver stable voltage and jam-proof signalling without an extra isolated supply. A wide 8~28 V input feeds both the HAT and the host Pi, while TVS diodes, a resettable fuse and protection diodes guard against surges and over-voltage events.
SPI host interface and flexible wiring
The MCP2515 and SC16IS752+SP3485 bridges convert SPI to CAN and RS485 respectively, with broken-out SPI control pins for alternative host boards. A jumper-selectable 120 Ω termination resistor and mixed terminal-block and pin-header connectors simplify bus wiring in the field.

The board uses the standard Raspberry Pi 40PIN GPIO extension header, so it fits Pi 4B, 3B+, 3B, 2B, B+, A+, Zero W and Zero WH models directly.
How can I confirm the CAN channel is communicating after I install the HAT?
The MCP2515 controller converts SPI to CAN; check the SPI bus for the MCP2515 device and verify CAN frames appear on the bus using standard Linux tools such as candump.
Does the box include the 8–28 V power supply or terminal cables, or must I source them separately?
The HAT ships with onboard terminals and pin headers for wiring; the wide-voltage power input and any external power supply or cables are not included and must be provided separately.
