The modules run at 4800MHz with CL40 latency at 1.1V and use a 2Rx4 rank layout that matches the board's memory controller expectations. Registered ECC RDIMM form factor

The 288-pin RDIMM design is the only module type the H14SHM accepts; UDIMM or SODIMM variants will not fit or function. Registered buffering reduces electrical load on the memory controller when all slots are populated, while on-die ECC corrects single-bit errors before they affect data integrity. This combination is required for stable operation in the target platform.

Standard-voltage DDR5 thermals

Operating at 1.1V, the modules draw minimal power and generate low heat under typical server workloads. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow across the DIMM slots provided by the chassis fans is sufficient for cooling. Acoustic impact is negligible because the memory itself has no moving parts and does not increase fan speed in a properly ventilated enclosure.
