The Panduit DPFP1 is a 1U horizontal rack filler panel built from black steel. It occupies a single rack unit in standard 19-inch Panduit two-post or four-post racks. Data-centre operators and network installers use it to close unused bays and maintain proper airflow management. RoHS certification confirms environmentally responsible construction.

Tool-free alignment with standard rack holes

The panel mounts directly onto the rack’s threaded or cage-nut holes using common rack screws. Steel construction resists bending during installation, so the flange stays flat against the rack rails. The only common issue is misaligned holes if the rack itself is out of specification, which can leave a visible gap. Packaged quantity is one panel per box.

Passive airflow control under continuous operation

Once installed, the solid steel face blocks bypass airflow indefinitely without vibration or degradation. No moving parts mean there is no wear mechanism, and the powder-coated finish withstands the temperature range of a populated server cabinet. The panel simply remains in place, preserving the intended front-to-back cooling path for the life of the rack.
