This bundle pairs an Intel Ultra 7 265K processor with the ASUS ROG STRIX B860-A Gaming WiFi S motherboard and a tube of Shin-Etsu X-23-7868-2D thermal grease. The CPU fits the LGA 1851 socket and delivers 30MB L3 cache plus 36MB L2 cache. Integrated Intel Graphics provide display output without a discrete card. The motherboard uses the Intel B860 chipset in an ATX form factor. Everything needed for the core platform is included in one package.

Robust power delivery and flexible storage mounting

The board employs a 14+1 phase VRM design with 50A and 60A DrMOS stages cooled by enlarged heatsinks and fed through ProCool II connectors. Four M.2 slots each carry a heatsink and one supports PCIe 5.0 x4 speeds while a quick-release armor and slide buckle simplify drive swaps. DDR5 slots are reinforced with SafeDIMM for stable operation up to DDR5-7600+(OC) via AEMP II. A USB4 header rear USB 20Gbps Type-C port and front USB 10Gbps Type-C header expand peripheral options. WiFi 6E and 2.5Gb LAN handle network traffic.

Platform limits defined by socket and chipset

The LGA 1851 socket and B860 chipset set the boundary for processor upgrades and feature support. Memory topology is dual-channel DDR5 only and the maximum qualified speed is DDR5-7600+(OC). PCIe 5.0 is available on the primary x16 SafeSlot and one M.2 slot while remaining M.2 slots and general I/O run at lower generations. The CPU carries a 125W base power rating so cooling capacity must match that thermal load. No discrete graphics are included so a separate card is required for high-end 3D workloads.
