The HPE ProLiant ML350 Gen10 is a rack-mount server built around two Intel Xeon Gold 5218R processors running at 2.1 GHz. Each CPU provides 20 cores and 27.5 MB of cache, giving 40 threads for parallel workloads. It ships with 512 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory and supports up to 3 TB total. The chassis holds eight 2.5-inch drive bays and includes an HPE Smart Array P408 SAS controller. Remote management is handled by HPE iLO Advanced.

Sustained-load behaviour

Dual 500 W Flex Slot power supplies feed the system, and firmware is updated to the latest stable version before dispatch. A full burn-in test verifies stability under continuous demand. The Smart Array P408 controller manages RAID across SATA or SAS drives without a listed cache size. Integrated graphics handle console output without adding thermal load. Network connectivity uses an Intel I350 and X540 combination providing two 10 GbE and two 1 GbE ports for steady throughput.

Pre-order checks

Confirm that your rack can accommodate the 36 x 24 x 10 in form factor and the 40 lb weight. The eight 2.5-inch bays accept SATA or SAS drives; no drives are installed so you must supply them. Memory expansion uses DDR4 ECC registered modules only. A rail kit is available on request but not included. Ensure your environment provides adequate cooling and power distribution for dual supplies.
