This NEMIX RAM kit delivers 256GB of DDR5 ECC registered memory across sixteen 16GB modules. It is built for Thinkmate RAX-QE12 rackmount servers that require registered DIMMs with error correction. Build Integration

Each 288-pin RDIMM operates at 1.1V and uses a 1Rx8 organisation with major OEM chips from Samsung, Micron or Hynix. The registered buffer reduces electrical load on the server memory controller, allowing all sixteen slots to be populated simultaneously. No heat spreaders are fitted, so airflow must follow the chassis design. Compatibility is validated for the target Thinkmate system.

Upgrade Context

The kit replaces lower-capacity DDR5 RDIMM sets or fills empty slots to reach the 256GB maximum. The jump is worth it when virtualisation, database or compute workloads exceed the current memory ceiling. It does not suit workstations or desktops that require unbuffered non-ECC modules.
