The Orico 3549C3 is a four-bay dock that accepts both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA hard drives or SSDs. It is built from aluminium with a built-in fan and honeycomb vents for cooling. A 150 W internal power supply drives all bays and the unit supports daisy-chaining up to three enclosures via its two USB-C ports.

USB 3.1 Gen 2 host link capped by SATA III

The enclosure connects to the host over USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C at up to 10 Gbps. Because each drive uses a SATA III interface, per-drive throughput cannot exceed 6 Gbps regardless of the faster host link.
