Capacity and configuration

This kit supplies 128GB of DDR5 memory across two 64GB modules. It uses a dual-channel layout with a 2Rx4 dual-rank design and EC8 ECC registered DIMMs. The modules run at 6400 MHz with a standard 1.10V voltage and fit 288-pin server slots.

Server and workstation upgrades only

The memory is built for DDR5 servers and workstations that accept 64GB EC8 RDIMM modules. It will not work in desktop or laptop systems, nor in platforms that require unbuffered or non-ECC DIMMs. Buyers needing consumer memory or lower-capacity registered sticks should look elsewhere.

Workload headroom and limits

The 128GB total capacity handles virtualization, large databases and multi-tenant workloads with comfortable headroom. The 6400 MHz speed supports high-throughput tasks, though memory-bound applications that scale beyond 128GB will require additional DIMM slots or higher-density modules. The dual-rank layout maximises density per channel within the kit.
