This A-Tech kit provides 256GB of DDR4 memory across four 64GB LRDIMM modules. It targets servers and workstations that require ECC Load Reduced DIMMs with a 4Rx4 organisation. The modules operate at 2933 MHz with CL21 latency at the standard 1.20V. Desktop and laptop systems cannot use these modules.

Upgrading from lower-capacity LRDIMMs

The jump is worthwhile when the current memory limit restricts virtual-machine density, in-memory databases or large dataset processing. Replacing smaller LRDIMMs with these 64GB modules raises the ceiling without changing the memory topology. Systems that already run 4Rx4 Load Reduced memory at 2933 MHz gain capacity without a speed or rank change.

Sustained load behaviour

ECC error correction protects data integrity during continuous operation. The Load Reduced design lowers electrical loading on the memory bus, helping signal stability when all four channels are fully populated. Standard 1.20V operation keeps power draw predictable during extended compute tasks.
