This A-Tech module provides 64GB of DDR3 1600 server memory in a single 240-pin LRDIMM. It is built for HP systems using part numbers 700838-B21 and 701807-081. The ECC Load Reduced design helps maintain data integrity in demanding server and workstation environments.

DDR3 1600 speed and LRDIMM electrical loading

The module runs at DDR3 1600 (PC3-12800) with a CAS latency of CL11 and standard 1.50V voltage. Load Reduced DIMM technology reduces the electrical load on the memory bus, allowing higher densities per channel than standard registered DIMMs. System chipset and BIOS must support LRDIMM operation for the module to function.

8Rx4 rank organisation decides compatibility

This module uses an 8Rx4 rank configuration, which determines how the memory controller addresses the chips. The server memory controller must explicitly support 8Rx4 LRDIMMs; systems limited to lower rank counts or different rank architectures will not recognise the full 64GB capacity.
