This 8 GB registered ECC module replaces Dell part numbers including 0146H and A4051431. It is built for servers and workstations that require error-correcting registered memory. The single DIMM uses a 240-pin DDR3 interface and major-brand chips. Buyers needing non-ECC or unbuffered memory for desktop platforms cannot use this module.

DDR3 1333 registered limits

The module runs at 1333 MHz with CL9 latency at the standard 1.5 V DDR3 voltage. Registered buffering adds one clock cycle of address-command delay, which the memory controller must support. Maximum capacity and population rules are set by the server platform and are not defined by this module alone. Systems limited to lower DDR3 speeds or to unbuffered DIMMs will not accept this memory.
