Server Memory Upgrade

This A-Tech module adds 8 GB of DDR3 ECC unbuffered memory to a compatible server or workstation. It runs at 1333 MHz with CL9 latency and standard 1.50 V operation. The 2Rx8 organisation uses major-brand chips on a 240-pin DIMM. It targets administrators who need reliable capacity for virtualisation or database workloads.

Replaces Kingston Modules

The stick is a direct equivalent for Kingston part numbers including D1G72J90, KTA-MP1333/8G and KTH-PL313E/8G. The upgrade is worth it when existing slots are populated with smaller modules or when ECC protection is required for data integrity. Systems limited to DDR3 1333 gain capacity without a platform change.

Build Integration

The UDIMM fits standard 240-pin DDR3 slots and draws 1.50 V, so no special voltage regulator is needed. ECC functionality requires a motherboard and CPU that support error correction; otherwise the module operates as non-ECC memory. It frees higher-density slots for future expansion when the platform allows larger DIMMs.
