Server DDR5 ECC RDIMM Upgrade

This A-Tech module provides 96GB of DDR5 ECC registered memory for server and workstation platforms that require registered DIMMs. It operates at 4800MHz with CL40 latency and 1.10V standard voltage. The 2Rx4 organisation uses a major-brand chipset and fits 288-pin DDR5 slots. It is built as a compatible replacement for Hynix HMCGM4MEBRB and HMCGM4MEBRB237N parts.

Replacing Lower-Capacity DDR5 RDIMMs

The jump from a smaller DDR5 RDIMM to this 96GB module is worthwhile when workloads exceed the capacity of installed memory and the platform supports 96GB single modules. Adding this density reduces the number of populated slots and leaves room for further expansion. Systems limited to lower per-slot density or non-ECC memory cannot use this module.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Registered buffering and on-die ECC maintain data integrity during continuous read and write cycles typical of virtualisation and database workloads. The 1.10V operation keeps power draw predictable under sustained throughput at 4800MHz. Thermal characteristics follow the DDR5 registered DIMM specification for the platform's airflow design.
