Spare gasket for grooveless fittings

This Alphacool O-ring replaces the seal on water-cooling fittings that lack a retaining groove. Its nitrile rubber construction resists common coolants and additives used in custom loops. Thicker cross-section for reliable sealing

The 2 mm cord diameter is slightly larger than typical groove-mounted rings, allowing the material to compress fully against flat seating surfaces. This extra thickness maintains contact pressure even when the fitting body has no machined channel. Under sustained system pressure the seal remains stable without extrusion. Leak risk during long-term operation is reduced by the generous cross-section.

Limited to static sealing applications

The ring is designed for stationary joints between rigid tubing and fitting bodies, not for rotating or reciprocating components. NBR 70 material handles typical loop temperatures but is not rated for continuous exposure above its published range. Chemical compatibility excludes strong acids, bases or petroleum-based fluids. Installers must verify that the mating surfaces are clean and free of burrs before assembly.
