The Alta Labs Route10 is a wired router built around a quad-core Qualcomm processor running at 2.2 GHz. It delivers 25 Gbps combined throughput with hardware acceleration for demanding traffic loads. Two 10 Gbps SFP+ ports and four autosensing 2.5 Gbps RJ45 ports provide flexible high-speed connectivity. Assignable multi-WAN allows any two ports to serve as WAN links for redundancy or load balancing.

Passive cooling with 40 W PoE+ budget

The unit operates without fans, relying on its metal enclosure for silent heat dissipation. An external universal AC supply accepts 100 to 240 VAC at 50 to 60 Hz and powers the router plus up to 40 W of PoE+ on two RJ45 ports under the 802.3at standard. This lets you power compatible access points directly without extra injectors. Bluetooth and Ethernet interfaces handle management traffic separately from data planes.

Compact rack-mountable chassis

Measuring 7.09 by 4.33 by 1.17 inches and weighing 1 lb, the router fits a desktop or an optional rack tray. A reset button provides a physical factory-restore option. Native WireGuard and IPsec VPN support is configured through mobile or web apps for local or cloud-based administration. Deep packet inspection and intrusion detection run in real time without requiring a subscription.
