The ASRock Rack 2U2E-F/ICX2 is a 2U rackmount barebone built for edge workloads. It accepts two 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors in LGA 4189 sockets and provides 32 DDR4 3200 DIMM slots. Two hot-swap 2.5 inch NVMe bays and one M.2 slot handle local storage. The platform targets integrators deploying dense compute in standard racks.

1600W 1+1 CRPS platinum power

Dual 1600 watt CRPS power supplies operate in 1+1 redundancy with 80-PLUS Platinum efficiency. The hot-swap design lets a failed unit be replaced without downtime. Front USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and a COM port give direct console access for maintenance. No CPU or memory is installed, so thermal output depends on the chosen processor configuration.

Aspeed AST2500 management and PCIe 4.0 risers

An Aspeed AST2500 BMC provides out-of-band management for remote monitoring and control. Each CPU connects to a dual-slot PCIe 4.0 x16 riser, enabling GPU or accelerator cards. Full-height full-length cards are possible if 1U CPU heatsinks are used. Buyers needing more than two NVMe drives or additional PCIe slots must look elsewhere.
