This ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card targets 4K gaming and VR enthusiasts. It runs on the NVIDIA Turing architecture with 2944 CUDA cores and 8GB GDDR6 memory. The PCI Express 3.0 interface connects to a 256-bit memory bus clocked at 14000 MHz. Core clocks reach 1515 MHz base and 1755 MHz boost in OC mode.
Bundled Software And Backplate Benefits
GPU Tweak II adds performance monitoring, thermal controls, Game Booster, XSplit Gamecaster, WTFast and QuantumCloud for streaming and optimisation. A reinforced aluminum backplate prevents PCB flex and trace damage during handling or transport. The package also includes a 144-hour validation programme that stresses the card for reliability.
Interface And Cooling Limits
DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0b drive up to four monitors simultaneously. A USB Type-C port supports VR headsets directly. The 2.7-slot cooler uses Wing-Blade fans with IP5X dust resistance and a 0 dB mode that stops fans below 55 celsius. DirectX 12 and OpenGL 4.6 define the API ceiling for current titles.
