The ASUS ROG Cronox GR801 Direct Luxury Edition is a mid-tower chassis designed for E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX and BTF rear-mounted motherboards. It provides eight standard expansion slots plus two additional vertical slots for flexible GPU mounting. Drive configurations allow one 3.5-inch bay with two 2.5-inch bays or four 2.5-inch bays total. The white brushed aluminium frame and ARGB lighting with ten preset effects suit showcase builds.

Thermals noise and power headroom

Up to fourteen 120 mm fans can be installed across top, side and rear positions for high airflow potential. Liquid cooling support includes 120 mm, 240 mm and 360 mm radiators at the top and a 120 mm radiator at the rear. A maximum CPU cooler height of 180 mm accommodates large air towers. The 40 mm cable management space behind the motherboard tray keeps routing tidy to maintain unobstructed airflow paths.

Sustained load behaviour

With the top and side panels each accepting four 120 mm fans, the case can move large air volumes continuously during extended workloads. The 400 mm maximum GPU length and 200 mm PSU length limits leave room for full-length graphics cards and power supplies without cramping the interior. Front I/O includes two USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a combo audio jack and a dedicated LED control button for quick lighting adjustments.
