The Bitaxe NerdQX-8.1T is a plug-and-play ASIC miner built for home and office environments. It targets hobbyists, solo miners and lottery miners who want to participate in the Bitcoin network without industrial infrastructure. Four BM1370 ASIC chips deliver a combined 8.1 TH/s hash rate on the SHA-256 algorithm. The unit ships as a complete kit ready for immediate operation.

138 W Global-Voltage Kit

An included AC adapter accepts 100–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz with a 4.0 A input current, removing the need for a separate power supply or voltage selection. Three integrated fans keep the chassis running continuously while acoustic output stays below 40 dB. A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi link provides network connectivity without Ethernet cabling, simplifying placement anywhere a mains socket exists.

Upgrade From Lower-Rate Nerdminers

Earlier Bitaxe models such as the 1.2 TH/s, 4.8 TH/s, 6 TH/s, 12 TH/s and 15 TH/s variants offer progressively less hashing power at 75 W, 100 W, 240 W and 260 W respectively. Moving to the 8.1 TH/s NerdQX-8.1T adds meaningful throughput at only 138 W and 0.017 J/Gh efficiency, making the step worthwhile when a quieter, more efficient solo-mining platform is preferred over higher-wattage alternatives.
