The BYTECC Bracket-525 converts a single 5.25-inch bay so a 3.5-inch drive, card reader or USB hub can be installed. Eight mounting screws are included for a secure fit. Compatible models include U2CR-318/HUB, U2CR-368, U2CR-701, UFH-421, BT-145 and BT-146.
Static mechanical bracket under sustained use
The bracket has no moving parts, fans or electronics, so its behaviour does not change with temperature or time. It simply holds the mounted device in alignment with the bay opening. No thermal throttling, vibration or wear occurs during continuous operation.
Replaces improvised mounting or missing bay hardware
