The Camius TRIVAULT4K184R2-3TB is an 8 channel hybrid video recorder that accepts eight analog cameras over coax and four IP cameras over the network. It ships with a 3TB hard drive installed and supports H.265 compression for efficient 4K recording. The unit provides HDMI, VGA and BNC spot outputs for local monitoring.

Check camera types and cabling

Verify that your existing analog cameras use CVBS, AHD, CVI or TVI signals over BNC coax before ordering. The recorder also requires a network connection for the four IP camera channels and for remote access via the Camius View app or web browser. A 12V 2A power supply is included for the DVR itself.

Upgrades older analog-only DVRs

This hybrid XVR replaces a standalone analog DVR when you want to add IP cameras without rewiring the coax infrastructure. The jump is worth it if you need 3840x2160 live view, H.265 storage efficiency, cloud backup to Dropbox or Google Drive, and RS485 control for PTZ cameras. Buyers who need more than four IP channels or more than 10TB total storage should look elsewhere.
