HP ZBook 14 G2 memory kit

This 16 GB kit contains two 8 GB DDR3L SODIMM modules built for the HP ZBook 14 G2 mobile workstation. It plugs directly into the two 204-pin slots and raises the system to its 16 GB ceiling. The modules run at 1.35 V and carry a CL11 11-11-11 timing profile. They are unbuffered, non-ECC and use a 2Rx8 organisation.

Dual-stick matched pair

Supplying two identical sticks lets the memory controller run in dual-channel mode, which doubles the data path width compared with a single module. The matched timing and voltage mean the BIOS can initialise both slots at 1600 MHz without manual adjustment. No extra software or drivers are included; the upgrade is purely hardware.

16 GB ceiling and 32 GB quad-core limit

The kit fills both slots on dual-core models and reaches the 16 GB maximum those boards support. Quad-core variants of the ZBook 14 G2 can address 32 GB across four sockets, so this kit leaves half the capacity and two slots unused on those configurations. Buyers needing more than 16 GB on a dual-core unit or a full 32 GB on a quad-core unit cannot meet that need with this package.
