The Cooler Master D240 is a 240 mm all-in-one liquid cooler built for desktop CPUs using Intel LGA 1150, 1151, 1155 or 1156 sockets. It uses a second-generation MasterPump double-cavity cold head to move heat from the processor into a 240 mm radiator. Two 120 mm PWM fans provide variable airflow across the radiator fins. The unit suits builders who want a closed-loop liquid solution for compatible Intel platforms.

Red LED fans and PWM control

Each 120 mm fan includes red LED lighting and runs at 650-1800 RPM ± 10% via a 4-pin PWM connector. At full speed the pair delivers 52 CFM of airflow and 1.82 mm H2O static pressure while producing 8-27 dBA of noise. The 12 VDC fans draw 0.22 A rated current with a 0.37 A safety limit. MTTF is rated at 160,000 hours. No separate lighting controller or software suite is included in the bundle.

240 mm radiator capacity and limits

The 240 mm radiator and dual-fan array give enough thermal headroom for mainstream CPUs at stock or modestly raised clocks on the supported Intel sockets. It will run out of capacity on high-core-count processors or heavily overclocked chips that push sustained heat loads beyond what the radiator surface and 52 CFM airflow can dissipate. Builders needing support for newer Intel sockets, AMD platforms or higher thermal design power should look elsewhere.
