The COUGAR Poseidon Vistek Pro ARGB 240 is a liquid CPU cooler built around a 3.95 inch IPS TFT LCD that shows live system data at 720 x 720 resolution and 60Hz. It mounts on AMD AM5, AM4, AM3, AM2, FM2 and FM1 sockets as well as Intel LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA115X and LGA1366 platforms. The copper cold plate and aluminium radiator handle heat transfer while ARGB lighting adds visual flair. Builders who need a smaller radiator or a non-LCD block should look elsewhere.

Thermals and acoustics at typical load

Two 125 mm PWM fans spin between 700 and 2500 RPM to push up to 78.2 CFM through the 240 mm radiator. At full speed the fans reach 38 dB(A) while the right-angle UTTERIGHT fins increase surface area for better heat dissipation. The 390 mm tubes give routing flexibility inside mid-tower cases. The 4-pin connectors allow precise speed control from the motherboard. Systems that require silent operation under heavy load may find the peak noise level intrusive.

Sustained load behaviour

Under continuous stress the pump and fans maintain steady flow and pressure thanks to the single-frame PWM design. The LCD continues to refresh real-time temperatures and utilisation at 60Hz without lag. Coolant temperature rises gradually as the aluminium radiator saturates, but the expanded fin geometry delays thermal throttling. Custom JPG, PNG, GIF or MP4 visuals stay visible on screen throughout the session. Workloads that run for many hours at maximum TDP will eventually hit the cooler's heat-rejection limit.
