Compatible Printers and Filaments

The CryoGrip Pro Glacier build plate fits Bambu-Lab P1S, P1P, P2S, X1C, X1E, X2D and A1 printers. It supports PLA at 45 to 55 degrees, PETG at 60 to 70 degrees, ABS, PA and other filaments. Glacier adhesion is weaker than Frostbite for PLA and PETG. P2S users must disable build-plate detection before printing.

Installation and Common Issues

The 257 by 257 millimetre plate mounts magnetically and weighs 14 ounces. A hollow handle stays cool at 100 degrees so the plate can be swapped immediately after a print. The AR markings let the X1 series identify the plate automatically. If detection is left active on a P2S the printer will error.

Surface Limits

The seven-layer cobalt oxide coating resists impact, corrosion and repeated flexing without peeling. First-layer grip is strong enough to suppress warping on large parts. Glacier texture gives a smooth bottom finish but does not match Frostbite adhesion for standard PLA and PETG. High-temperature materials require the correct AR code to avoid errors.
