Five-port desktop switch

The Cudy GS105D is an unmanaged Gigabit switch with five RJ45 ports that auto-negotiate at 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps. It supports IEEE 802.3i, 802.3u, 802.3ab and 802.3x standards and forwards packets at full wire speed. The metal chassis can sit on a desk or be fixed to a wall using the two integrated mounting holes. No configuration is required after power-up.

Home and small-office networks

This switch suits users who need a simple, fanless way to add wired connections for computers, printers or access points. It is not for installers who require VLAN segmentation, QoS prioritisation, SNMP monitoring or link aggregation. Buyers needing Power over Ethernet for cameras or phones should look at a different model.

140-metre Gigabit reach

Each port maintains a 1 Gbps link up to 140 metres, which is 40 percent farther than the usual 100-metre limit for standard switches. The 0.375 MB buffer and 15360-byte jumbo-frame support help sustain throughput on long cable runs. Green Ethernet technology reduces idle-port power draw by up to 85 percent.
