The Dell Latitude 7212 is a new rugged tablet built to MIL-STD 810G standards for use in harsh environments. An 11.6 inch FHD outdoor-readable display with gloved multi-touch supports operation in bright sunlight or while wearing gloves. The Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with 8 MB Smart Cache and 8 GB memory runs Windows 11 Pro on a 256 GB SSD. Integrated 4G LTE multi-carrier, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 keep mobile teams connected on site.

Thermals noise and power

The fanless Intel HD Graphics 520 design eliminates moving parts, so the tablet runs silently during typical office or field tasks. Shared system memory for graphics reduces component count and helps contain heat inside the sealed chassis. The 1.90 GHz base clock and 4.20 GHz turbo boost deliver responsive performance without exceeding the thermal envelope of the rugged enclosure. Battery life varies with workload and wireless activity.

Ports and accessories expand utility

One USB 3.0 port, one USB Type-C port, a micro serial connector and a combo audio jack provide direct links to peripherals and legacy equipment.
