The Dell PowerEdge R640 is a 1U rack-mount server built around two Intel Xeon Platinum 8160 processors, each delivering 24 cores at 2.1 GHz with a 3.7 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 128 GB of DDR4-2666 registered ECC memory across eight modules and includes a PERC H730P 2 GB RAID controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60.
