Adding the second Silver 4110 doubles thread count and unlocks the full 24 DIMM population for 768GB. The PERC H730P controller supports RAID 0/1/5/6/10/50/60 for flexible data protection.

Limited by 12Gb/s SAS backplane and 1U thermals

The 2.5-inch drive bays connect through a 12Gb/s SAS interface, capping sequential throughput per drive. Ten-thousand RPM disks deliver consistent IOPS but cannot match solid-state latency. The 1U chassis restricts airflow, so sustained all-core turbo clocks depend on rack inlet temperature and aisle containment.
