The Dell PowerEdge R650 is a 1U rack server fitted with two Intel Xeon Silver 4314 processors running at 2.4 GHz with a 3.4 GHz turbo. Each CPU provides 16 cores for a total of 32 cores, targeting virtualisation, database and dense private-cloud workloads. It ships new with rails and a front bezel included.

10-bay 2.5" storage and H755 RAID

Ten 2.5-inch drive bays hold the supplied 1.92 TB SATA SSDs, connected through a Dell PERC H755 controller with 8 GB NV cache and battery backup. The controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Dual 1400 W platinum hot-swap power supplies provide redundant power.
