PowerEdge R650 1U dual-Xeon server

The Dell PowerEdge R650 is a 1U rack server fitted with two Intel Xeon Silver 4314 processors running at 2.4 GHz with a 3.4 GHz turbo. Each CPU provides 16 cores for a total of 32 threads. The system ships with 512 GB of DDR4 2666 MHz registered ECC memory across 16 DIMM slots and supports up to 2 TB maximum capacity. It is built for virtualization, database and dense cloud workloads.

PERC H755 RAID controller with 8 GB cache

The bundled Dell PERC H755 PCIe controller adds 8 GB of non-volatile cache backed by a battery and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Ten 960 GB SATA 6 Gb/s 2.5‑inch SSDs are pre-installed in the front bays. A Broadcom 57412 dual-port 10 GbE SFP+ OCP 3.0 network card and iDRAC9 Enterprise remote management are also included, along with ready rails and a front bezel.
