The Dell PowerEdge R650xs is a 1U rack server built for dense compute environments. It ships with two Intel Xeon Gold 5317 processors, each running 12 cores at 3.0 GHz with a 3.6 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 128 GB of DDR4 2933 MHz registered ECC memory across eight DIMM slots. A PERC H745 RAID controller with 4 GB non-volatile cache manages eight 1.92 TB SATA SSDs.

Dual 1400 W platinum power supplies

Redundant hot-swap 1400 W platinum-rated power supplies maintain uptime during a module failure. The 1U chassis uses Dell’s engineered airflow design to cool two 12-core CPUs, memory, storage and the Broadcom 57412 dual-port 10 GbE SFP+ OCP 3.0 adapter. iDRAC 9 Enterprise provides out-of-band monitoring so administrators can track thermal status and power draw remotely without host OS overhead.
