Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 memory populate the 24 DIMM slots. A PERC H330 controller manages up to twelve 3.5-inch hot-plug SAS or SATA drives with RAID 0/1/5/10/50/60 support. Redundant 750 W power supplies and a DVD-ROM complete the chassis. iDRAC8 provides remote management.

This platform suits archives, backup repositories and surveillance storage where drive count matters more than single-thread speed. The six-core CPUs and capped 32 GB memory limit virtualisation density and database performance. Buyers who need more processor cores, higher clock rates or larger memory footprints should look at alternative configurations. GPU-accelerated workloads are unsupported beyond the basic Matrox G200 video output.
