Two Intel Xeon E5-2680 v3 processors deliver 24 cores at 2.5 GHz with 3.3 GHz turbo. It suits IT teams needing high drive density in a compact rack footprint.

Capacity and headroom with 24 drive bays

Twenty-four 2.5-inch SAS/SATA trays provide extensive local storage capacity without installed drives. The PERC H730 1GB controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through. Memory scales to 1.5 TB across 24 DDR4 slots; 128 GB is installed as eight 16 GB registered ECC modules at 2133 MHz. CPU sockets are fully populated at two processors.

Build quality with redundant power and remote

Dual 750 W platinum-efficiency hot-swap power supplies deliver redundancy. The Intel X520/I350 daughter card provides two 1 GbE and two 10 Gb SFP+ ports. iDRAC 8 Enterprise enables out-of-band remote management. Ready rails and a front bezel are included for rack mounting. No drives ship with the unit.
