This 2U rack server ships with two Xeon Platinum 8260L processors running at 2.4 GHz and 512 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory. It is built for virtualisation clusters, database workloads and compute-heavy applications that need high core counts and large memory capacity in a standard rack footprint. The chassis supports up to eight 3.5-inch drives and includes a PERC H730P RAID controller for hardware RAID management.

Verify rack depth and power before ordering

The unit measures 36 by 24 by 10 inches and weighs 40 pounds, so confirm your cabinet depth and weight rating. Two 750 W power supplies are installed; ensure your PDU circuits can deliver the required current. Network connectivity uses a dual-port 10 GbE 562T adapter, so check that your top-of-rack switches have compatible 10 GbE ports. No drives are included; plan the quantity and type of SATA drives you will install.

Eight-bay chassis with tool-less rails and remote

The 8-bay 3.5-inch chassis uses tool-less drive carriers for quick swap-outs during maintenance. An iDRAC9 Enterprise licence provides full out-of-band remote console, power control and firmware updates over a dedicated management port. Integrated graphics handle basic video output for local KVM access. The PERC H730P controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 with 2 GB of non-volatile cache. Rail kit is available on request for standard square-hole racks.
