The PowerEdge R750 is a 2U rack server built around two Intel Xeon Gold 6338 processors, each running at 2.0 GHz with 32 cores. The system ships with 512 GB of DDR4 3200 MHz registered ECC memory across 16 modules, leaving 16 slots free for future expansion.

Storage and networking foundation

Twenty-four 2.5-inch drive bays are populated with 1.8 TB 10K SAS drives connected to a PERC H755 RAID controller with 8 GB NV cache, supporting RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60.
