Server identity

The Dell PowerEdge T430 is a 5U rack server equipped with two Intel Xeon E5-2690 v4 processors, each running at 2.6GHz with 14 cores and a 3.5GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 32GB of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory across four modules and includes a PERC H330 12Gb/s SAS/SATA storage controller managing four 960GB SATA solid-state drives. Dual 750W platinum power supplies provide redundant hot-swap power.

Build integration

The chassis offers sixteen 2.5-inch hot-swap drive bays supporting SATA and SAS devices, leaving twelve bays available for additional storage expansion. Twelve DDR4 memory slots are present with eight slots free, allowing growth up to 384GB total capacity. PCI Express expansion slots accept RAID controllers, network adapters or other add-in cards. Integrated dual-port Gigabit Ethernet and iDRAC 8 Express remote management are included. Front bezel and ready rails are not supplied.

Sustained operation

Dual redundant 750W platinum power supplies maintain continuous delivery during extended workloads while allowing hot replacement without downtime. The PERC H330 controller manages the four enterprise SATA SSDs and any added drives under constant I/O. iDRAC 8 Express provides ongoing remote monitoring of thermal status, power draw and system health. Hot-swap drive bays enable storage maintenance while the server remains online. ECC registered DDR4 memory protects data integrity during prolonged compute tasks.
