Dual Xeon Silver 4116 5U Server

The Dell PowerEdge T440 is a 5U tower server fitted with two Intel Xeon Silver 4116 processors running at 2.1 GHz with a 3.0 GHz turbo frequency. Each CPU provides twelve cores for a total of twenty-four threads. The system ships with 256 GB of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory installed across eight 32 GB modules. It targets organisations running virtualisation hosts, database workloads, or file and backup services.

PERC H730P RAID 16 Hot-Swap Bays

A Dell PERC H730P controller with 2 GB cache manages the sixteen 2.5-inch hot-swap drive trays and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through mode. The chassis accepts SAS, SATA and SSD media without a separate backplane upgrade. Two 750 W platinum-efficiency power supplies operate in redundant hot-swap configuration. The front bezel and rack rails are not included.
