Precision 5820 Xeon workstation

The Dell Precision 5820 is a mid-tower workstation built for professional workloads. It ships with an Intel Xeon W-2135 six-core processor, 128GB of DDR4 ECC memory and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The Nvidia Quadro P5000 adds 16GB of GDDR5X video memory for certified ISV applications. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and activated.

Sustained-load thermal and power behaviour

A 950 watt 80 Plus Gold power supply rated at 90 percent efficiency feeds the CPU, GPU and memory under continuous load. The Xeon W-2135 runs at a 3.7GHz base frequency with a 4.5GHz turbo ceiling across its six cores. Registered ECC DDR4 2666 modules maintain data integrity during extended render or simulation jobs. The tower chassis provides airflow for the Quadro P5000 and system components.

Four 32GB registered DIMMs populate half of the eight available slots, leaving four slots open for expansion to the 256GB maximum.
