The Dell Solarflare SFN8542 is a full-height converged network adapter designed for rack-mount servers. It provides two QSFP+ ports, each capable of 40GbE throughput, enabling high-bandwidth connectivity for storage and compute clusters. The card uses the SF10-050122 controller to offload protocol processing from the host CPU.

Capacity suited to twin-port 40GbE fabrics
